I took the classic Disney story "The Little Mermaid" and changed it to what I always interpreted it to be like. Ariel was a "rebel" in the story, so I showed what I believed she would look like as a modern 'rebel" american teenager. I used acrylic paint and paper for this project. I hope to put it in Photoshop and continue to make my piece better.  

"Clock strikes 12. You have to hurry before everything changes. What do you leave behind?"

I suppose I'd leave my phone or an electronic device so I could be communicated with.
